Snapshots of York

I have included many of the York attractions on other pages of the site, so here are some views of the City that can be observed by walking the streets or strolling around the ancient walls or even from a boat on the river Ouse.

These include views of the Deanery gardens and Minster Grounds, streets ancient and modern including the famous Shambles and an example of the historic alleyways and hidden yards and courts referred to collectively as the Snickelways.
